How It Began
Turmeric (Holdi) is the spice that gives curry its yellow color. It has been used in India for thousands of years as a spice and medicinal herb. Founded by Rukon Kamaly. Mr Kamaly was born in Bangladesh and started cooking while in his early teens (training in some of the best restaruants in London). His restaurants features an authentic Indian cuisine with more than 100 items to choose from mild to the wildly pungent. "People are often astounded and say they have never tasted food like this before. I tell them they are right. I have created this unique menu from scratch and so they won’t have tasted food like this anywhere before!"
